Located on our lowest level, The Director's Room is a 200-square-foot accessible queen suite thoughtfully positioned just off the south entrance with an accessible lift, and features a fully accessible lift, and features a fully accessible bath and shower along with two southeastern-facing windows that fill the space with natural light. Celebrating St.Joseph's steamship and boating heritage on Lake Michigan, it showcases original steamship wallpaper, exposed brick from the historic library walls, and curated nautical antiques. Complete with plush robes, a tea kettle with curated coffees, and teas, and complimentary Wi-Fi and television, it offers a comfortable harbor of history within The Library Historic Hotel.
